• Ensure the cart is properly assembled; and
• Ensure the cart is suitable for the intended terrain.

• Follow charging instructions;
• Protect battery terminals;
• Store the battery appropriately;
• Inspect the battery regularly; and

• Reverse polarity;
• Use an incompatible charger;
• Expose the battery to excessive heat; or
• Continue using a physically damaged battery.

If a battery becomes swollen, excessively hot, damaged, begins smoking or emits an unusual odour, stop using it immediately and seek professional assistance.
